This competition is open to participants residing in multiple Member States of the European Union as well as Switzerland.

Where participants reside outside Germany, the GDPR applies pursuant to Art. 3 GDPR (territorial scope).
Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR.

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for conducting and administering this competition and in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.

Depending on the information provided by the participant, the following personal data may be processed:

    Personal data is processed exclusively for administering this competition on behalf of Dunlop Tyre Europe, including:

  • selecting the winners;
  • contacting the winners;
  • arranging and delivering the prizes;
  • preventing duplicate, automated or fraudulent entries;
  • complying with legal documentation and retention obligations.

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where processing is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship arising from participation in the competition.

8.4 Cross-Border Processing

Where participants reside in another Member State of the European Union, their personal data may be transferred to and processed in Germany.
Such transfers take place exclusively within the European Economic Area and therefore do not require additional safeguards under the GDPR.

8.5 Retention Period
Participant data will generally be deleted no later than three (3) months after completion of the competition.
Personal data of the winners may be retained for longer periods where required by statutory retention obligations or where necessary for the organisation and fulfilment of the prize.
IP addresses processed for fraud prevention purposes will generally be deleted after a maximum of 30 days.

Personal data is only disclosed where this is necessary for conducting the competition.

  • technical service providers supporting the operation of this website;
  • Dunlop Tyre Europe, where necessary for administering the competition;
